There is an enviable bond between man and dog. It is one relationship however where you soon start to realise that you will outlive your closest friend and there will be a time when they are not by your side anymore. In adult life I appreciate the bond between man and dog more than ever and love getting to know dogs and their owners, capturing the characters and bonds between them.

First and foremost, location based dog photo shoots are nothing like anything you may have experienced in a photo studio. For me fields and woodlands are a natural location for dogs, perfect for showing off your dog’s breed and markings to capture your dog in action.

Every dog is different whether it’s Great Danes, Wolfhounds, Collies or Spaniels and all sorts of Labradors. Capturing your dog in an environment that matches its breed and characteristics is really important to me. From lakes to mountains, heathland to beaches, even in the city, we can put together a unique session.

The photo shoot of your dog normally lasts around 45 minutes to an hour. During that time we will take your dog for a walk, giving me time to take some natural portraits before we start to have some fun whether this is running on the beach, chasing a ball, catching a frisbee, or jumping into the lake....
