Set in the little village of Lindale is an ideal base to explore the undiscovered beauty spots of the south lakes and the peninsulas. Millers Loft was the old granary store and part of the 17C Millers house. The beck and waterfall that run nearby once powered the water wheel. From a little shared courtyard and parking area you enter up the stone steps to a small hall, off which is the bathroom with overhead shower, hand basin and WC. The sitting room and kitchen are open plan. Rough cast walls, heavy beams and with a plump sofa sat in front of a log fire, combine to make a cosy room to wine and dine, or tuck up with a good book.
