Explore Margaret River from your own private chalet.

Caves Road Chalets is the perfect spot to escape the bustle of everyday life. You'll find us nestled amidst the picturesque bushland Margaret River is renowned for. Each chalet is fully self-contained, with air-conditioning, wood-burning fires, linen and everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Kids will have plenty to do, with their own playground and many places to explore. There are fantastic attractions for families in the South West, including mazes, animal farms, mini-golf and heaps more. We also have cots, high chairs, and baby baths to make life easy for you.

Pets are more than welcome to join your Margaret River adventure, too. And with 64 acres to run free, your pup will love his or her new backyard. There is a small extra fee for dogs.

Caves Road Chalets is one of the few pet-friendly holiday spots in the Margaret River region. We warmly welcome dogs and other pets. Just let us know before you book so we can prepare for your furry friend's arrival.
Why pets love Caves Road Chalets

Our chalets are on 64 acres of stunning natural bushland, making it the perfect place for your four-legged friend. We ask that you keep your pup on a lead, as this protects the local wildlife. However, there are so many beautiful trails to explore you and your dog will absolutely love it.

If you do need to leave your pet at the chalets for any reason, we also have special enclosed runs, which are safe and secure.
Our pet policy

As big animal lovers, we do everything possible to ensure your pet is happy and comfortable at our chalets. So you know what to expect, we've listed our 'Pet-friendly policy' below. Please contact us if you have questions that still need to be answered here.

Q. Do I need to tell you I am bringing my pet?
A. Please inform us about your pet while booking with Caves Road Chalets. Most pets are accepted, but we cannot accommodate certain dog breeds in some cases. When booking online, please let us know how many dogs you are bringing and their species.

Q. How much does it cost to bring my pet?
A. We charge $11 per night per dog. For other animals, please contact us, and we will send you a quote as soon as possible.

Q. How many dogs can I bring?
A. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per chalet. Just ask for other kinds of pets, and we'll let you know how many are allowed.

Q. What if my dog is barking or howling when I am out?
A. If your dog is barking, howling or stressed when you are out, we ask that you take him or her along with you. We thank you for your understanding!

Q. What if I want to leave my dog at the chalet?
A. We do have enclosed dog runs, where your pup can be housed while you're at a function or event that does not allow animals. Dogs are not permitted inside the chalet while you are out.

Q. Can my dog go anywhere in the chalet?
A. We ask that you keep your furry friend off the couches and beds. Dogs are also not allowed on the second storey of your chalet or in the bedrooms.

You can explore the many wonders of the Margaret River region from your chalet. Dive into the beautiful Indian Ocean, just minutes from your new home, or take in the stunning wildlife and flora on a relaxing hike through natural bushland.

Each chalet features 1 or 2 bedrooms and a flat-screen TV and DVD player - perfect for a cosy night in with a bottle of wine from our infamous wine region. You may also like to visit our charming township, which features some of Australia's best food and wine establishments.

During the day, we highly recommend heading out and joining a wine tour or exploring the world-class vineyards, breweries, distilleries and restaurants at your own pace. Your getaway can be as action-packed or relaxed as you like - one of the many beauties of Margaret River!
