Christmas Tree Cottage is on a working Christmas Tree farm. It is a self-contained cottage with 4 rooms available for rent as individual rooms or the whole cottage for short or medium term accommodation. Each room has its own front entrance access, reverse cycle heater/air conditioner, designated bathroom and toilet. There is a communal TV room and a shared dining/kitchen area.

There is an area of about 10 acres around the cottage where you can pursue outdoor activities. Or you can explore the whole 31 acres of the property with its dams, birds, grasslands and of course the Christmas trees.

The farm is a 15 mins drive to [Canberra](https://ngunnawal-country.online4services.com/au/australian-captial-territory-act/north-canberra-civic-watson-campbell-acton). It is located in a 20 minutes drive radius to the historic towns of [Bungendore](https://ngunnawal-country.online4services.com/au/new-south-wales-nsw/bungendore) and Gundaroo and a dozen boutique wineries. We are less than a half hour drive to many of Canberra's tourist attractions: EPIC, Brand Depot at Canberra airport, [Australian War Memorial](https://ngunnawal-country.online4services.com/au/australian-captial-territory-act/north-canberra-civic-watson-campbell-acton/things-to-do), Canberra Stadium, Parliament House, Questacon, National Museum, Federation Square, National Gallery, lake Burley Griffin and Ginninderra, Cockington Green, AIS, etc. Ask us about the other tourist sites near our doorstep. There are country pubs and restaurants within a 10 mins drive from the farm.

Check in and Check out times:
Check in is after 2 pm and check out is no later than 10 am

Dogs are welcome:
We welcome dogs if you provide their own eating and sleeping requirements. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. If you are out for the day and leaving your dogs behind they must be left in the enclosed yard or shed and not in the house. There is an enclosed yard with a large garage for shelter outside. However be aware that no dogs are allowed on the furnitures and it is the responsibility of dog owners to clean up after their pets. If there are other guests in the house you are required to discuss with them if it is suitable for your pet to be in the shared areas. The cottage comes with a secure backyard but guests need to use their discretion. As a condition of stay guests are to accept responsibility for their own pets and dogs must be house trained.

If your pet has an accident and the carpet requires cleaning we have to charge you the cleaning cost.
